Ingredients:
- 1 pound regenerative and pasture raised ground pork (I use Force of Nature)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon fresh sage chopped
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon of tallow, ghee, or butter (for frying)
Directions:
- Mix ground pork, maple syrup, sage, red chili flakes, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, ground nutmeg, and dried thyme in a large bowl until evenly blended. Shape pork mixture into small patties.
- Heat tallow, ghee or butter in a large skillet over medium heat; fry patties in batches until pork is browned and no longer pink in the center, 4 to 5 minutes per side.
